Model for role of AM signaling in lymphangiogenesis.

Preferential upregulation of AM signaling genes in LECs leads to robust AM signaling and enhanced activation of ERK phosphorylation in lymphatic versus blood endothelial cells, which is essential for maintaining normal lymphatic vessel proliferation from E14.5 to birth.
