BDNF protein expression in WT and BERKO mice before and after acoustic trauma. Both male and female BERKO mice showed lower expression of basal BDNF compared with WT mice. Acoustic trauma decreased BDNF expression in both WT and BERKO mice. The differences between pre- and post-trauma concentration were greater in WT than in BERKO mice.
