IGRP206–214-specific CD8+ T cell response in NOD-IGRP mice.

Islet-infiltrating T cells from NOD-IGRP mice and nontransgenic control littermates were expanded by culturing individually selected islets in RPMI supplemented with 10 U/ml rhIL-2 for 7–9 days. The cultured T cells were stained with IGRP or TUM H-2Kd tetramers and analyzed by flow cytometry.
