Local administration of FTY720 prevents asthma development driven by endogenous mDCs.

On day 0, mice received an i.t. injection of OVA in the presence or absence of FTY720. From days –1 to 2, mice were injected i.p. with anti-GR1 Abs to deplete tolerogenic pDCs or isotype control Abs. Ten days later, mice were subjected to 3 OVA aerosol challenges. (A) BAL fluid was analyzed by flow cytometry. (B) H&E staining of lung sections.
