Anti–SDF-1 antibody titration. Model control: Fluorescence confocal micrograph of 3 C57BL/6.gfp retinas that underwent retinal ischemia. Negative control: Left, untreated, eyes of 3 C57BL/6.gfp mice that underwent retinal ischemia. Anti–SDF-1, 0.1×, 4 injections: Three C57BL/6.gfp mice that underwent retinal ischemia and were injected with 0.1 μg/μl final concentration of anti–SDF-1 antibody, a 10-fold decrease from the original concentration, intravitreally once a week for 4 weeks. Anti–SDF-1, 1×, one injection: Three C57BL/6.gfp mice that underwent retinal ischemia and were injected with 1 μg/μl final concentration of anti–SDF-1 antibody intravitreally the day after injury.
