Endocytosis of albumin by PTECs. (a) Time response. Left panel: growth-arrested PTECs were exposed to fluorescein-labeled HSA (5 mg/ml) for 0–60 min at 37°C. Cells were then fixed with 1% paraformaldehyde and examined by fluorescence microscopy. ×1,000.
