BUN is higher in IL-15–/– mice with NSN than in wild-type mice with NSN. Measurements were taken on day 11 and day 14 after induction of NSN and results were analyzed by ANOVA with replication. Data are presented as mean ± SEM. The BUN of these mice prior to receiving nephrotoxic serum was 33.7 ± 1.5 mg/dl. n = 4 per group. *P = 0.014.
