PGE2 (a), PGF2α (b), and TXB2 (c) levels in right and left lung homogenates obtained from cPLA2α+/+ and cPLA2α–/– mice after LMBOand measured by ELISA. Filled bars indicate cPLA2α+/+ (n = 5) and open bars indicate cPLA2α–/– mice (n = 5). PGE2 levels were higher in left than in right lungs in both genotypes (P < 0.05). PGF2α and TXB2 levels were higher in left than in right lungs in cPLA2α+/+ mice (P < 0.05), but not in cPLA2α–/– mice. There was no difference in levels of PGE2, PGF2α, and TXB2 in either lung between the two genotypes.
