PET of heart in the patient before and after L-arginine infusion. Coronary artery function was investigated in the patient, using PET of the heart with 13N-ammonia at baseline (a and b) and after adenosine triphosphate (ATP) infusion (c and d). On another day, we also investigated the coronary artery function in the patient, using PET of the heart with 13N-ammonia 30 minutes after a 200-ml L-arginine (0.1 mg/ml) infusion at the baseline (e and f) and after an ATP infusion (g and h). The short axis images (a, c, e, and g) and the vertical long axis images (b, d, f, and h) are shown.
